Re: Schreker der Schmied von Gent
The complete vocal score to Der Schmied von Gent can be downloaded as follows: https://ia700605.us.archive.org/35/items/derschmiedvongen00schr/derschmiedvongen00schr.pdf It is a medium/low resolution file - but will suffice for anyone interested in studying the most fascinating opera. As of this dat...

Re: downloading scores in Canada
Thanks, Daphnis. I would offer the following observation. I think you would agree that it is misleading in the extreme to state on the one hand that various scores are PD BUT NOT available temporarily due to possible international copyright conflicts, and then state that the same materials will not ...

That being the case, why can't a Canadian, logged onto a Canadian ISP (i.e. Rogers) not be able to access scores that are NON-PD US when, according you your...

Re: downloading scores in Canada
In Canada? Or just in the US? Sorry, trying to get the hang of this and understand that the subject may have been covered elsewhere.

Any chance of getting the orchestral scores to the Rimsky operas (other than SnowMaiden and C d'O)?

Anton Rubinstein Symphonies
It would be nice to have all six of the Rubinstein Symphonies - the present "Ocean" symphony is the 4 movement version (not the complete, 7 movement version), and the score (pardon me) is not in the best shape. :( Any thoughts? Ditto for the Piano Concertos (the orchestra scores, not the p...

downloading scores in Canada
A friend is attempting to download scores in Toronto - presumably logged in through a Canadian based ISP. The scores in question (Florent Schmitt, Vincent d'Indy, Nikolai Medtner, Karol Szymanowski) all fall under the 50 year rule since all of these composers were deceased <= 1958. Yet, the scores a...
