Re: How to upload an arrangement score with parts
An administrator deleted the submission for being improper for the reasons of 'uploading a new arrangement or a new edition as a "Manuscript Scan" or "Normal Scan" and as public domain' and 'no Category/Composer page was ever created and associated too before uploading typesets u...

Re: How to upload an arrangement score with parts
Done. And this time, the number of files I see listed is correct, which is promising.

Re: How to upload an arrangement score with parts
It's an arrangement I made and typeset. Here is the URL: https://imslp.org/wiki/Divertimento_in_ ... g_Amadeus) The arrangement is currently the uppermost entry under the Arrangements and Transcriptions tab.

How to upload an arrangement score with parts
I recently made my first score submission, which I had intended to consist of a score of a transcription and its corresponding set of six parts, in the form of seven files. I did this through Add File -> New Arrangement -> Arrangements and Transcriptions on the appropriate work page. A form with a &...

Re: Taking requests for reconstructing scores from parts
I'm also suspicious of the fact that it has a part labeled 2nd Violin, but none labeled 1st Violin.

Re: Taking requests for reconstructing scores from parts
I've posted parts for silent film music all of which could use a score. First priority: Gloria's Romance by Jerome Kern https://imslp.org/wiki/Gloria's_Romance_(Kern%2C_Jerome) In this one, I notice that some of the parts have cues labeled "horn," but there is no horn part. What's up with...

Re: Taking requests for reconstructing scores from parts
One that comes to my mind is https://imslp.org/wiki/Piano_Quintet,_Op.41_(Dussek,_Jan_Ladislav) A scan of a ca. 1900 Breitkopf. Your measure numbers in the parts will be more useful than the present rehearsal letters. :-) In this one I run into trouble in the very first bar: in the left hand of the...

Re: Taking requests for reconstructing scores from parts
An update on the Spohr - I've been leisurely about it but I have all the notes in for the 2nd symphony. What remains is resolution of inconsistencies and formatting.

Re: Taking requests for reconstructing scores from parts
How about Louis Spohr's Symphony No.2 ? We have the complete parts and a conductor's score (3 staves). No full score was issued in the 19th century that I have been able to locate. Worldcat shows only two full scores published in the 20th century: Musikproduktion Höflich's study score which is a fa...

Taking requests for reconstructing scores from parts
Are there any pieces that have parts posted on IMSLP that anyone would like to have full scores for? I'm interested in typesetting some scores using parts. I'd rather stick to things that are public domain everywhere, and ideally things for which full scores don't exist at all or are very hard to fi...
