Jean-Baptiste Loeillet x 2

Hello - There were two composers named Jean-Baptiste Loeillet - cousins. They are correctly identified on separate pages, but only one - "de Gand" - is listed in the composer index: https://imslp.org/wiki/Category:Composers#fcfrom:Lic . The other one ("of London") is linked on th...

Re: Ernest Moret - Serenade Triste

Yes, the copyright entry came up when I searched the lyrics, which gave me the little information I have.

There must be a copy of it somewhere in the world. I'll keep looking! :D

Re: Kate Loder -- Piano Music

Thanks to everyone who replied! I am itching to get my hands on those library scores!! Is there a way to request a library to scan out-of-print, public domain music for IMSLP?

Ernest Moret - Serenade Triste

In search of song by Ernest Moret based on poem(s) by André Foulon de Vaulx, U.S. copyright index from 1908 shows the work as Serenade Triste.

I believe this is the song (piece no. 4) submitted anonymously to this volume:

Kate Loder -- Piano Music

Would love scores by Kate Loder. Apparently she wrote two books of short studies, 24 in all.

Re: Jaques-Dalcroze Esquisses Rythmiques

Hi Jim, Thank you very much! Yes, it does seem these works were published and re-published with varying specifics, and oddly numbered. The "Esquisses Rythmique - I," No. 1528, is Volume II of the three including the Marches No. 780, and if I understand you it's also the third volume if cou...

Re: Jaques-Dalcroze Esquisses Rythmiques

Thanks for bringing this to our attention. Sibley is of course still in the process of scanning their huge collection, so the other volumes might turn up soon. If you have the time and skill, your own scans are of course welcome also. Thanks for your reply! I know how to scan, but I don't know how ...

Re: Jaques-Dalcroze Esquisses Rythmiques

Is there a way to search the as-yet unclassified scans for them? The catalog of Sibley scans - imslp uploaded or not - is there: https://urresearch.rochester.edu/viewInstitutionalCollection.action?collectionId=63 The catalog of Sibley scores - scanned or not - is there: http://catalog.lib.rochester...

Need help solving a mystery!

I discovered a set of anonymous pieces -- excerpts, as it turns out -- here on IMSLP. Link: http://imslp.org/wiki/6_Morceaux_Anonymes_(Anonymous) I am dying to know who wrote No. 4, the song with piano. Here's what I've found out: - The poem is by Andre Foulon de Vauxl. - The pieces were part of a c...

Jaques-Dalcroze Esquisses Rythmiques

Hi - First, what a treasure this place is! I haven't been on "this side" of the site before, so I hope I can ask the question correctly. It's great to find the Method Jaques-Dalcroze here! However, the "Marches Rythmiques" volume is titled "Complete Method" for some rea...
