Hello:
Is it possible for me to have a work with two composers? I found some scores and a recording on Pandora Records of Bernhard and Andreas Romberg's three flute quintets, opus 1. How would I go about making a work to hold those that appears with two composers?
Links to files for reference:
Score No. 1: http://hdl.handle.net/1802/14617
Score No. 2: http://hdl.handle.net/1802/14607
Recordings: http://www.ibiblio.org/pandora/vorbis/Galway/Romberg/
Thanks!
Lekro

Re: One work with multiple composers
Yes, we already have some works like that. For example:
* http://imslp.org/wiki/Sch%C3%BCtzen-Quadrille_(Various)
* http://imslp.org/wiki/The_Easy_Instructor_(Various)
Just make the composer "Various", and then add the "Collab" template at the top, and include both composer categories at the bottom of the page. If you're not sure how to add the template or categories then post a message here after you've created the page and uploaded the files, and I'll take care of it.

Re: One work with multiple composers
Thanks. I have done that, but the scores in my new work page seem to be the same as those in another one...
New: http://imslp.org/wiki/3_Flute_Quintets_(Various)
What I found: http://imslp.org/wiki/2_Flute_Quintets_ ... ,_Andreas)
One should be deleted. Which one is preferable, though? The collection of three quintets as a collaborative work, or two quintets composed by Andreas Romberg in his work page, and the one composed by Bernhard Romberg in his work page?

Re: One work with multiple composers
The earlier page for "2 Flute Quintets (Romberg, Andreas)" has the first and second quintets there, and your newly-created page has just the first. So I'll delete the files you just uploaded (apologies!) and redirect it to Andreas Romberg's page.
The third quintet seems to be missing from Bernhard Romberg's category, so if you were to create a new work page for that and upload those files there, at least all three quintets would be available for the first time.
It's quite possible that we could eventually have another set to go on a page called "3 Flute Quintets (Various)", so I'll delete it rather than attempt to redirect it to the Rombergs' categories. As it's possible to split the set, that's probably the best solution in the circumstances. That wouldn't have worked if they had each written movements in the same quintet, for example.

Re: One work with multiple composers
Ok- sounds good. Sorry for the page duplication - didn't realize that those two flute quintets were from the collaborative set of three.
Unfortunately, Bernhard Romberg's quintet is not in Sibley - the one that is named like it's the third quintet: https://urresearch.rochester.edu/instit ... emId=14169
is actually a quartet or set of quartets.
