Hello,
I was wondering if the project is trying to produce scores in the LilyPond (or other music notation program) file format.
I have no idea what's the best or most used music notation program at all.
I am also not suggesting the project should produce such files.
I just learned that Mutopia Project is doing that and I would just like to know if there are future plans for doing something like that, and if it's a good idea.
thanks
Scores in LilyPond or other music notation program?

Type "engraving files lilypond" into the imslp search field. You will obtain such scores.spacecraft wrote:I was wondering if the project is trying to produce scores in the LilyPond (or other music notation program) file format.
Each one is the best and most used in its developers' view Read http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Comparison_of_scorewriters and repeat the previous search replacing lilypond with another notation program. See if you like the corresponding scores.spacecraft wrote:I have no idea what's the best or most used music notation program at all

At least, do not upload scores with the Lilypond engraving file only and no corresponding score in pdf format! And http://imslp.org/wiki/IMSLP:Typesetting_Guidelines
