As a composer, it saddens me immensely to see one of my work pages vandalized like this:
https://imslp.org/wiki/24_Pr%C3%A9ludes ... rs%2C_Rob)
It's a set of piano pieces I worked hard on for almost a year now, and it's nearing completion. But someone found it necessary to give all the individual scores the lowest 1/5 rating. Why?
If someone doesn't like my music, fair enough. It's free, no damage done. But when you vote on a certain score, the rules clearly state that you can only vote for the technical aspects of the score, the quality of the scan or typeset, NOT for the musical content.
And as you can see, the technical quality of my scores doesn't warrant a 1/5 score. I always try to produce the highest possible quality typesetting, clearly legible, avoiding difficult page turns etc etc.
It happened before, here:
https://imslp.org/wiki/6_Nocturnes%2C_O ... rs%2C_Rob)
Curiously enough, that's a collection of piano pieces too. Same piano-hating person? I felt so hurt when I saw this that I proceeded to upvote my own scores (hence the 2 votes). Lame, I know, and I regret doing that.
But people visiting these pages will think "it's garbage, won't bother". Can there anything been done about this kind of vandalism (like removing the false votes) - or is it a matter of "sucks, risk of the trade?"

I see the scores all have two votes, so thanks to whoever added that 5-star rating (I didn't do it myself).
