Grove Music lists this as "Jodelet [Der lächerliche Printz Jodelet] (schertzhaftes Spl, 5, Praetorius, after Matsen), HG, 1726, Bsb ed. in PÄMw, xviii, Jg. xxi–xxii (1892/R); incl. It. arias by A. and G. Bononcini, Caldara, Chelleri, M.A. Gasparini, Giacomelli, Lotti, Orlandini, Vivaldi and others". In other words it is not entirely by Keiser.

How do we deal with these in terms of links, whose name is on the work page, and how it is referenced on the other composers' pages?

OK, three possible scenarios here:
1) If it's a work by Keiser which uses pre-existing arias by the other composers, then it should continue to be listed under Keiser, with cross-references from the pages from the other composers' works.
2) If it's a work by Keiser, to which other composers were invited to make contributions, then again it should still be listed under Keiser, but with links to the other composers' categories
3) If it's a collaborative work with no single author, then we should list the composer as "(Various)", and have {{colcat}} links to all the other composers' categories.

Does Grove help to clarify which of these might apply?

Grove Music says:

"Schertzhaftes Sing-Spiel in five acts by REINHARD KEISER to a libretto by Johann Philipp Praetorius after Matsen’s Jodelet, oder Sein selbst Gefangener".

Although Grove credits Keiser, it goes on to say:

"Jodelet is one of Keiser’s strangest and least satisfactory operas, a coarse and witless comedy in which half the arias are taken from serious operas by Italian composers. Of the 17 solo arias in Italian, only ‘Ch’io ritorni, o luci care!’ appears likely to be by Keiser."

With only one solo aria by Keiser, very little is by him. But if Grove credits the opera as a whole to him, then it also looks like he himself either chose or invited the other arias? What do you think?

Hmm, "taken from" sounds a little like "ripped off" :-) So it should be left under Keiser as the composer, ideally with cross-references to and from the other works used.

But if the sources of the borrowings aren't easily identifiable then I wouldn't worry about it too much.
