Hello!
I'm looking for a composition for aforementioned ensemble. Some relation to or similarity with Liszt, Chopin or Mendelssohn would be ideal, but I'm flexible.
I have recordings of Mozart's Kegelstatt-Trio, Brahms' Horntrio and Mendelssohns Trio without opus number. Thus far, the last one is the only ideal fit and if anyone could help with the sheet music, I'd certainly be grateful.
Suggestions concerning other pieces for this instrumentation are also greately appreciated. I'm aware of the pieces found via the genre walker on IMSLP, but can't find recordings for most of them...
Thanks!
Maurice
Trio for violin, viola, piano (e.g. Mendelssohn)
Re: Trio for violin, viola, piano (e.g. Mendelssohn)
It seems there is a recording of this Trio in C minor (written in 1822) by Trio Ceresio in the form of Violin, Cello and Piano. Here is a link to Amazon which sells this CD.

This trio is published by C. F. Peters - $27 - and Breitkopf - about $20.
