Dear Dessauer fans (admittedly not a mass movement)
I tried signing up with google books to get an upload of the above monograph. Then nothing happened. What does an entry on G books mean? Is it just a catalog entry or is there a real (or digitized) book somewhere? Is it just another on-line bookshop?

Hi WB,
I believe Gb uses some geo-location tricks to attempt to work out what country you’re in, and then the content that is made available to you is curtailed accordingly.

There are other problems. Last week I tried to access a book printed in 18 something that is listed as public domain. It was a Google scan, but through HathiTrust. It won't let me download it. I have emailed HathiTrust, and they gave me two alternate websites to try to access the book through and I still can't get it. I need to email them again today to find out what else I can do. They acknowledge that I should be able to download it, we are just trying to work out how I can do that.
