View next composition in composer category
Often I like to peruse all of the compositions in a given composer's category, especially if I've uploaded most of those works, and it's mildly inconvenient to have to backtrack to the composer's page just to view the next composition in the list. I'm curious to hear what other people think about an ability to have something like a "Next" and "Previous" link on these pages where one could easily and quickly view the next piece in the list. Is this something that others would find useful? And from the developers (Feldmahler), would this be difficult to implement?

Re: View next composition in composer category
Sounds like it might be possible; this sort of thing is what the template boxes with categories of composer’s works were designed to avoid you having to do, when navigating among a set of similar pieces by the one author.
If I'm looking at a variety of works like that I tend to basically keep the composer's page open and view all the daughter pages using tabbed browsing – hold down the command key and click as many links will fill up the browser...
Cheers, PML

Yes, I use that method as well, which is more convenient that back-browsing, but still not as convenient as advancing to the next in the list.

Bump. I'm guessing no one else thinks this would be useful?
Re: View next composition in composer category
I agree that it would be useful and should be implemented.

Agreed. Definitely useful. Ideally it should work within subsets also. For example, if one was doing a category walker stroll to come up with all the NonPD-US items of Florent Schmidt, it would extremely useful to go to the next record in the found set or subset resulting from the search.

I just wanted to note that I have put this feature on the to do list. However, this feature is deceptively hard to implement, so it may not be done right away.

For one thing, you need to have a variable stored somewhere which contains the category (or multiple-category interect) which was being browsed in order to reach the said work page; and then a sensible way of ordering each such category/intersect! PML

Re: View next composition in composer category
If you are redesigning the work page, one fundamental that we are missing is the ability to go to the composer page from a work page. I often end up on a work page and want to see what else the composer wrote. The only way at the moment, is to scroll to the bottom of the page and pick off the composer from the info section. Please, please, can we have a link near the top of the page? Many thanks.

+1 on that one as well

Just want to bump these two improvements so they stay on your mind

Interesting, how improvements crop up today peu à peu -
I like the larger "add file" buttons, and the summary on top
... but it is not necessary to abbreviate (#mv'ts, First Pub.), there is enough space.
and "Movements/sections:" would be much more straightforward.
