Grieg Norwegian Dances
I note that the orchestral score listing on IMSLP for Grieg's Norwegian Dances is in fact the 4 hands piano duet version. Does anyone have the orchestra score please? Hope someone can help.
Re: Grieg Norwegian Dances
If you are referring to the 4 Norwegian Dances, op.35, then they were originally for piano 4-hands. Grove Music doesn't list an orchestral arrangement, so presumably it wasn't done by Grieg himself. Grove usually lists arrangements done by the composer. The page, as far as I can see it, is correct as it is.

The common orchestration is supposedly by Hans Sitt, though both my book and Wikipedia imply it was done by Grieg himself.(though in Sitt's article it's mentioned without question).
As they were contemporaries, it's quite possible Grieg was involved somehow even if Sitt did the majority of the work.
