Dear lohshuhan, I read by chance about your request.
May I ask where do you got the information about the existence of those Tausig pieces? Which book or article? Those pieces are entirely novelty for me!!!
I have a couple friends around the World who can check some libraries...

@ lohshuhan

There's one piece by Schubert which is called "Der Liedler", Deutsch-Verzeichnis 209, op. 38. But it is in C, not in C minor. The score is in the library. Perhaps you may take a look at the score. But I'm sorry, this is no transcription by Tausig.

As far as I know there is no major-key gavotte with variations in Rameau's published keyboard output (or even among the posthumously published keyboard works). There is a relatively famous gavotte with variations in A-minor that is available on IMSLP in a couple of versions (http://imslp.org/wiki/Nouvelles_Suite_d ... hilippe%29)

There is a D-major "Variations, Interlude et Finale" by Paul Dukas that's on a theme by Rameau. Perhaps this is what you heard. It certainly would be a good fit in that recital program.

IMSLP has it here:
