Kreisler Cadenzas

Post by bounci.rabbit.123 »

Hello,

I was wondering if Kreisler's cadenzas to the beethoven violin concerto are public domain or not. I was unable to find them anywhere (except on violinist.com except i can't email the guy who has them), and this site has no kreisler music. Does anyone have them, and can they be uploaded?

If not, does anyone have a MIDI recording of them?

Thanks.

Kreisler died in 1962, so they won't be PD in Canada until 2013. I think they were published in 1928, so they're not PD in the US either.

Darn it.

Thanks a lot though...

And how about a MIDI sequence? I found one that had a couple measures of it but not the whole thing. Are MIDI sequences also not allowed to be made since the music is not PD?

EDIT: Never mind. I've got it now - bought it from everynote.com.
Thanks.
