VERDI and DVORAK

Post by m.kowalski49 »

I've acquired the said part for the Verdi Requiem.

I've also have Nabucco, complete opera parts.

There's also Dvorak Requiem I have also.

I will be working on this project this week. And throughout the next weekend.

ps.. The Verdi Requiem is the edition of what's on here of what I uploaded of the 1st 2nd and Viola part.

Nabucco, is a reprint of Ricordi Casa, Milan I think.

And the Dvorak Requiem appears to look like a Novello reprint, possibly JW Chester or something close.

Outstanding. Yes, Nabucco is Kalmus' reprint of Ricordi just as you speculated. Dvorak is likely going to be a reprint of Novello.

Wonderful to see the Va Pensiero online. We are building our chorus for next year (doing ERNANI and BALLO) and one of the perks is doing a chorus recital.

By the way, I know that copyrights are an issue with Puccini but what about Verdi (all his operas)? I see that some of the Wagner operas have orchestra parts already online for the public. Is there any hope of having Verdi operas online in the near future?
