Post by Broeckie »

Hi!

Anyone there with the orchestrated version (with parts) of the Thunder and Lightning Polka?

Many thanks ahead!

No one? Strauss isn't under copyright anymore, right?

On WorldCat, I see a Boosey & Hawkes orchestral arrangement by Harold Perry, an orchestral version published by Bosworth, edited Naylor, and an orchestral score that has no editor, published by Kalmus [19-]. This last one should be PD.

However, Kalmus' website shows orchestral parts, but they are edited by McAlister, so not PD.

You would have to find the original un-edited score and parts, or if you can only find a PD score, you could possibly typeset parts if you have enough time.
