Ravel transcription by Alexander Siloti

Post by Alfredo »

The transcription is published in 1922 (original work pub. 1915) by Durand yet Siloti died in '45. This neither public domain in Canada or the US? The work in question is the "Kaddisch" from Deux Mélodies hébraïques transcribed for piano solo.

How did you get the idea that it may not be public domain in Canada and the US? If this were so 1. it wouldn't be on IMSLP and 2. you couldn't download it. I also see this is "checked" from the EU perspective.
