What is a trill?

I know what a trill is, on guitar it would be like a constant hammer on - pull off sequence. But in this song:

the violino principale performs a trill on the same note Bb. Is that possible on guitar? Or is only possible on a violin due to the vibrato or something?
Even so, I'd like to know how to perform a trill on one note (or what it means)
Thankyyou

I think it's just like any other trill. In these trills, you'd go from B-flat to C. Is that what you're looking for?

No problem. I've heard the piece before, so it wasn't all that hard to figure out!
