I just found a site http://www.cobbettassociation.org that has many unknown works for chamber music that are out of print and out of copywrite. Has anyone used The Library of The Cobbett Association? It might have many great pieces.

It looks like a fantastic resource. They seem to have a wealth of rare works. Unfortunately it looks like you have to be a member to actually get copies.

I wonder if they would let us put material on IMSLP. Maybe this could be the next thing to do after the MIT project??

Hmm, if these chamber music pieces are really out of print and out of copyright, then they should be PD in Canada and free of charge as well. However, I do suppose they (Library of Cobbett Association) has a right to charge a fee for providing the service (much like Dover reprinting out of print scores and selling them cheap) but 28 dollars per year seems pretty steep to me.

Lets not forget that this site has many out of print pieces. I hope they did not go off line before we could do anything about getting their great works. The link to their site http://www.cobbettassociation.org/ is not working right now. :(

But there is more info here

Maybe we could put it on a to-do-list after we have settled down a bit after reopening?
