Horn - Playing Tips

I'm a french horn player (or more properly, a horn player). For one of our concerts this year (in about a month and a half) we're playing Sleigh Ride and A Christmas Festival Overture, both by Leroy Anderson. Does anybody (preferably a horn player) have any helpful tips for playing these two pieces?

Boy, do you bring back memories! I played 2nd violin in both these pieces when I was in high school, many decades ago. It sounds like you're playing these pieces for a Christmas Concert, just like I did. So while I can't help you out I wish you good luck and hope that your audience likes the performances.
