Do we have the Wagner Operas CD sets?

Not yet. I've always loved Mark Twain's famous remark about Wagner (his music is much better than it sounds), even though I do actually enjoy the operas in a good performance. Those will be some Gurre-Lieder sized sets.

Worse. The parts will be much, much longer. Should we split by act?

PDF bookmarks would be an alternate approach.

Please don't split by act, but use bookmarks as horndude suggests.

That's fine...the files will just be rather large...but it's fine.
Start working, kcleung!

What's wrong with large files? I think that's much more preferable than having unnecessary divisions.

Well Carolus made that point with his splitting of large sets - say, Gurrelieder - into small files, for those with dial-up. It's a bit strange to have split that into 34 files to keep the size down, and then upload 200-page violin parts (Then again, sleeping beauty...)

Well, those with dial-up are just going to be hating life with ANY form of media. I don't see any reason why instrumental parts to a given work should be divided into multiple files.

Sorry to interrupt, but out of curiosity, how many works will be part of the OM project when it is complete?

I can't tell you how convenient this has been for my Orchestral Studies classes (not to mention all the orchestras that are probably also grateful). Thanks, guys!

Congrats, everyone, and thanks! My orchestra's director is thrilled!
