Galway recordings on Pandora Records/Archive
Hello: I noticed that there are recordings of (Sir) James Galway performing in the Concertsal of Danish Radio in the Pandora Archive, here: www.ibiblio.org/pandora/vorbis/Galway/ Would it be possible to upload these to IMSLP? If so, it would be a valuable addition, although the audio is low quality....

Re: [FEAT] Server side recordings transcoder
Ah. Is there any way I could help?Carolus wrote:I've mentioned to Feldmahler. Not sure how soon something like this is feasible. We need to re-do uploading page so that things are more automated and less time is spent cleaning up things which could be done by the system - especially for new compositions.

[FEAT] Server side recordings transcoder
I briefly talked with Carolus about this idea, but I'm not sure if it got pushed forward, or had any issues. I thought that in the US, copyright on sound recordings haven't expired yet, because it wasn't accounted for...

Oh. In that case, I'll be uploading the batch.KGill wrote:I assume because no contributor here had seen them, or as of yet had not bothered to transfer them.

Why does IMSLP not use Fulda Symphonic Orchestra files?
Hello all:
There are recordings available under the EFF OAL license from the Fulda Symphonic Orchestra here: http://web.archive.org/web/201203120412 ... enkel/fso/ Is there a reason that IMSLP doesn't use them, while Wikipedia does?
