Re: Impossible to submit arrangement
Just been bit again by this issue. It seems that the instrumentation menu doesn't appear in Firefox (on Linux). It worked in google-chrome.

But I don't. The instrumentation box isn't active.

searching for MusiXTeX "engraving files"
Is there any way to search IMSLP to find scores generated by MusiXTeX and whose source files are available? To test software I've written, I need examples. (PMX-generated musixtex files are not suitable.)

Impossible to submit arrangement
The system insists that "instrumentation" must be submitted but refuses to allow you to submit instrumentation. I've had to submit ordinary scores and then edit the resulting page by hand.

Re: Can't submit "Arrangement Instrumentation"
I finally uploaded the score not as an arrangement and then edited the page by hand.

Can't submit "Arrangement Instrumentation"
I've submitted a file PMLP254171-fughettas.pdf as an arrangement for the Work Page "A Collection of 7 Fughettas" by Handel. The system refuses to allow me to submit the description without an Arrangement Instrumentation but also refuses to allow me to enter anything in that field. I'm stuc...

Hornpipe and Minuet files should be deleted
On http://imslp.org/wiki/Overture_No.5_%28 ... William%29, I re-arranged the Hornpipe and Minuet for recorders and added them to the Allegro movement.
But I deleted references to the old files (in D) on the work page and now can't access the file pages to flag them as deletable.

Then how would I delete the old file?KGill wrote:I think he meant to simply upload an entirely new file with a different name--if you're uploading a new version of a file it does not change the filename used on the server.

revisions not implemented
There seems to be a bug in the treatment of file revisions. See the discussion here:

Re: File revision not implemented?
Christian: The problem isn't in the reversion, which was an unsuccessful attempt to provide the correct PDF. The problem seems to be a software bug. I presume someone somewhere is trying to pin this down. Could that be confirmed or do I have to report the issue to a system admin?

Re: File revision not implemented?
are you positive your latest new version of the file (26 Oct.) was exactly the same upload as the one from the 25th? No doubt Murphy's Law is applicable but I did check before and after uploading on the 26th. And I did that because the upload on the 25th didn't seem to be right. Yet now you say it ...

Re: File revision not implemented?
The Sept. 12, Oct. 25, and Oct. 26 versions all appear to be identical to me. Look for "a tempo" on the top left of the 3rd system. There's also an alternative (small} note in the bass-recorder part in measure 11. This is all in the file history Comments. The preview on the file page is r...

File revision not implemented?
At http://imslp.org/wiki/Kinderszenen,_Op.15_%28Schumann,_Robert%29#For_4_Recorders_.28Tennent.29 , I've submitted a revised file with minor improvements. Access was blocked for a day, which I understand. But after, the file available is still the unrevised version. Thinking I uploaded the old versi...
