Arbie Ornsteins revision is not PD anywhere. That's why my parts were removed in the first place.

Please watch Verdi's page for these parts. I have them in my studio as we speak. I will make sure I have the complete set before I do anything.

Has anyone here heard the Ashkenazy orchestration??? Vladimir Ashkenazy did his own arrangement and I personally think its over the top (not that kind of over the top) but like a WOW OMG over the top.

His orchestration is very well done.

I believe this work is only availabe via Rental. The last time I performed this piece was in 2009 anmd only have a xerox of the 1st Violin Part. And I believe the publisher was Ricordi Casa. I have access to a Music Library who has these parts. I currently have a 2nd and Viola part on me that's not PDF though. I can ask their Librarian if I could borrow these parts to upload here.

The two Violin part parts that are listed as "Violins 1" are infact two entirely different parts. One (the first listed, also has bowings in it.) is a corrected edition of the latter, that's the reprint of Guthiel, Paris.. and the 2nd is one thats the gutheil part. I would like to have bot...

Um... "No. 6" (actually written before No. 1) was orchestrated/reconstructed by someone else (Wikipedia says Federico Mompellio and Francesco Fiore, whoever those are), from sketches and the solo violin part. IIRC, this was sometime in the 20th century, if not as late as the 1970s. So yea...

PS. If you are planning on doing a performance of this work? If so, if it leads to making parts from this in Finale or Sibelius or just making your own parts. I would advise against making your own parts from a score. Publishers have a way of finding out about performances and would be highly suspic...

Sorry about that. You may want to try Professional Orchestra's in your area, they might have a lending fee for perusals. I know when the Youth Orchestra here that has performed this, our Orchestra here, have lent them the parts etc.. But unfortunately I can't get them uploaded as sooner than this. B...
