Re: Arthur Sullivan: The Grand Duke, in full score
In fact, the PDFs are not THAT big as it was outputted from Finale and not scanned. Roughly 6MB each file, give or take. However, if you were referring to the 'extract' I wanted to post, it was WELL under a MB.

I'd like to publish it here but really struggle with the technical process involved in doing so. Can anyone offer me some advice? My score is huge, Act One 481 pages, A...

Re: 'Popular' music from the 1920s
Hi, I'm think more of 'popular music', i.e. jazz and dance music. Not 'classical', and yes, I do know Hindemith's 1922 piano suite.

Re: Typesetting divis string parts in Finale 2012
Hi and thanks to all for your input. It is a matter of adding x number of staves, then grouping them, removing names. I'm wondering if this sort of process is any easier when using Sibelius?

Sorry, I was unable to add the little accents/hooks as I don't have a Czech font, strangely!

Sir Arthur Sullivan scores released
The Morgan Library, NYC, has digitised much of its manuscript collection. This includes full scores of HMS Pinafore and Overture di Ballo, amongst others. Downloading the score is a tedious process as it can only be achieved page by page. I have done this for Pinafore. Very interesting to see Sir Ar...

I'm just wondering, based on your revenue-raising venture, if you'll now be declaring tax in Canada based on income. Or are you operating as a charity? My only thoughts on this.

I would certainly volunteer to help with this, not fussed which composer or which works. I'm in Australia, might not be useful.

Would it be possible to upload the full score of this opera you have, if it meets the copyright concerns here?
