At the very least, could the new IMSLP be structured so that scores appear on the site only after they have been reviewed and appropriately tagged? Also, here's a question for a legal expert: Do the tags that accompanied files that weren't PD in all countries protect the site from any potential lega...

Speaking of Wikipedia, I was thinking, would it be feasable to add the IMSLP as a "sister project" in the same vein as Wikisource or Wikiquote?
That would make for more seamless integration as a whole and it would give a whole host of other benefits.

Hmm...interesting choices, so ill throw another weird one out there.
If you ever get the chance to hear anything by Nicolai Tcherepnin, take it. His piano concerto (Op.30) is simply the best piece of music you've probably never heard before.

I have a similar problem with downloading scores, however I noticed that this only happens for scores about #12000 and up. Is this the case for you? Also, I use IE7, not Firefox.

I have access to many of their volumes via library, and I also have access to Acrobat Professional (via my dad), which as you probably know is a PDF editing software.
