Re: Well-tempered Clavier, Mugellini edition
Well, I'm glad that the information is confirmed and that I could help to solve a problem. Now, we are sure that Mugellini has an editited the work. I think you have noticed that I also uploaded a reprint from Muzyka for the Book I, BWV 846-869. I think this is one : http://www.ruslania.com/entity-6...

Re: Well-tempered Clavier, Mugellini edition
I did not find any records in OCLC for a Mugellini edition issued under his name only before his death in 1912, which confuses the issue even more. I think I have found it in Google Books : http://books.google.com/books?id=yWoZQAAACAAJ&dq=mugellini+bach&hl=fr&cd=9 It's a Breitkopf editi...

Re: Well-tempered Clavier, Mugellini edition
Hi, Carolus ! Thank you for your answer ! I am a bit confused about the exact nature of Mugellini's contribution to the edition that came out under Busoni's name. In the Breitkopf edition by Busoni, you can see on the title page the names of Egon Petri and Mugellini. They have collaborate to the Edi...

Well-tempered Clavier, Mugellini edition
Hi, everybody ! I'm not sure this is the right place to post. Feel free to move this, if I'm in the wrong forum. I uploaded recently Bach's Well-Tempered Clavier, edited by Bruno Mugellini. Somebody (an administrator, I guess) wrote some notes about the score : "Text in Polish. Mugellini's name...

Beethoven sonatas by Schnabel
Hi, everyone !
Does anyone have the Schnabel edition of the Beethoven sonatas ? Artur Schnabel died is 1951, so these editions must be public domain in Canada. I'm interested in these editions.

Re: Bach Keyboard Works in the old Bischoff edition
I have not the books, but I'm interested in this too. Which Bach works are you talking about ? The WTC ? The Partitas ? The suites ? Goldberg variations ? Inventions ? The Art of fugue ? Or some others works ? Maybe all of them (that would be damned good !). I love collecting editions of Bach. You f...

Russian edition of WTC 1
Hi, everybody ! I've found a russian edition of WTC 1 on emule. I can't read russian, I don't know who is the editor, when it was edited. Is it under copyright ? It still seems like an interesting edition. There are some fingerings. I have uploaded the file here. http://rapidshare.com/files/29505738...

Chopin edited by Cortot
Hi, everybody !
I'm looking for the Nocturnes and Mazurkas, edited by Alfred Cortot. Cortot died in 1962. I'm not sure they are in Public Domain. I'm in Europa. Does anyone know ?
Thanks in advance.

Re: Beethoven's stringing of BACH's Well-Tempered Clavier
Hi ! There is an edition of the WTC by Carl Czerny (Beethoven's student). This is maybe what you're talking about. You can find some parts of it on the website. I have never use it, so I can't claim about it. But here's what a friend told me about it on another forum : "He was just a good edito...
