Yep. Not exactly clear is it? It probably should have “IMSLP” in it somewhere to differentiate it from the previous CC licences.

Don’t worry, you’re not alone in having been confounded by the Captcha. I wonder if it could be made even more obvious...

Re: IMSLP to merge with WIMA
Answer: on the file upload forms, it’s the bottom option on the pull-down menu for the Copyright status, after all of the Creative Commons licences.pjones235 wrote:Question: how do you tag an IMSLP PRA copyright status when transferring files?

Re: Moszkowski Etincelles (Sparks) flawed
Chad,
If the pages are merely out of order it should be relatively easy for someone to fix.
It’s not a “copy this verbatim” Captcha; it’s an “exercise your powers of arithmetic” Captcha.
5+3—2=6
Thanks, P.

There isn’t a version for violas by the original composer? Colour me surprised, kalliwoda.

Re: IMSLP to merge with WIMA
Perhaps, but the copyright infringers are almost totally immune to subtlety, unfortunately. It’s best not to give them the slightest encouragement. Click here for an unsubtle message: GRRRRRAAAHHH!!! (You’ll notice someone had the temerity to water down the warning by including “however you are stil...

Re: IMSLP to merge with WIMA
Don, have a look at the pages of other non-dead composers. Exemplum gratia . This is a normal copyright notice to indicate: * the composer has rights, both legal and moral; * the downloader should pay attention to the copyright licencing of the composer’s works which are offered on the website. You ...

(BTW, I love the title of your “Tantrum for Toy Piano”.) Re: Tantrum - Thanks! It's a very angry piece for a toy piano! ;) Jeff Over at tvtropes.org, they’d describe this as Exactly What It Says On The Tin . Re: IMSLP to merge with WIMA
Click on the IMSLP index # below the download arrow for your score; all these recent uploads from WIMA have an IMSLP # in the mid-110,000s. That should take you to a page with a URL that looks something like: http://imslp.org/wiki/File:WIMA.####-{filename}.pdf Underneath “File History” on that page,...

Re: seeking Renaissance organ works - Andrea Antico frottole
If we’re asking after Antico publications, then the Liber quindecim missarum of 1516 has to be a desirable item also! Hopefully some libraries with copies of these marvellous 16th century collections will have looked at scanning them.

Re: IMSLP to merge with WIMA
I’m not quite sure I understand the issue; but if it’s a set of pieces that can’t be separated, which would go under the category for Fullsack, then to indicate there’s a composition by Borchgrevinck also within the set you add the category by manually editing the page and inserting [[Category:Borch...

Re: Fuchs-Schonbach, Zur Trauung op.66 and 68
I think I wrote to the submitter at one point asking for clarification on parts of the œuvre (the downloads are large and the handwriting unclear). I don’t think I got a response. I think you should make a note on the relevant page that there is some confusion as to what is in the score, and include...

Re: IMSLP to merge with WIMA
Hi Jeff,
that might have been KGill getting a bit twitchy a few days ago.
Which ones weren’t WIMA files, or is that an ambiguous question with an answer that would take up several pages?
Cheers, Philip

Create an account on the website, set up a valid e-mail address in the preferences and select the option for you to receive e-mail when pages change, and then visit School of Bowing Technique, Op.2 (Ševčík, Otakar) and click the “watch” button at the top of the page. The page currently has the violi...
