Grainger (in the US)

If my sources are correct, then it is true that Percy Grainger's works (at least, most of them) are PD in the U.S. Now, if that is true, is it possible to post them on IMSLP but not make them available for download in countries (like Canada) that he is not PD in? I think that if this is possible, as...

Re: What are you listening to RIGHT NOW?

Lincolnshire Posy (I'm on Mvt. I: Horkstow Grange right now, I just started, though I intend to listen to the entire thing), by Percy Grainger. Most definitely his greatest musical accomplishment, and probably the greatest musical accomplishment of the 20th century. A note on the recording I'm list...

Re: IMSLP and How It Is Relatively Unknown

You know those little icons in people's message board symbols that are adds for sites they subscribe to? The little flashy icon or whatever that's relatively easy to make (or so I'm told)? What if somebody here made that, post it up on IMSLP somewhere with a little "embed" tag so people co...

Joaquin Turina - La Procession du Rocio

If anyone owns or has access to the full score and/or parts for La Procession du Rocio could they please post it. I'm dying to take a peek at the 1st horn part. If it's not in the public domain then obviously you can't post it, but if it is I would really love to see it added to the IMSLP library.

La Procession du Rocio by Joaquin Turina. Exceptional piece. I wish someone would post it on IMSLP (provided it's in the public domain).

Re: Best Composer ever

Personally, I admire Percy Grainger and would definitely name him as my favorite composer. His deviation from standard composing style during his lifetime created some of the most amazing music in existence today. He was one of the first to write for the modern Wind Ensemble (after receiving Frederi...
