Re: Orchestral Parts Project
Yagan, yes the DVDs are here. As I stated above, I've already uploaded 70 folders to the FTP that are ready to be uploaded to the wiki. Horndude77 has already been doing this - we now have complete parts to the Mendelssohn symphonies. In spot checking approximately 1000 pages so far, I've only enco...

empty tacet pages (was Re: Orchestral Parts Project)
Kcleung, If you go to the FTP server, under the directory OP Project > failed > File problems, you can see where I've uploaded files that have a weird problem whereby the file has no images at all, but instead consists of 22 landscape blank pages. I'm fairly certain there should have been music in ...

Re: Orchestral Parts Project
Oops......... there are still logos escaped from my scripts..... sorry.
I am going to have a look at all files, but after I fix the failed files, where can I upload them? Also how can people know that the files are fixed and then remove the failed files?

Re: Orchestral Parts Project
I have found out the reasons why some logos were not removed from the first pass. I created a variant of the original script and use it for the 2nd pass logo removal (by my quad-core robotic reviewer, who works 24 hours a day 7 days a week non-stop for a full week), which will finish by tomorrow. Th...

Re: a Life+50yrs lilypond project hosted by IMSLP FTP server
That's good news!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Xian, Xinghai would be the focus, because most other Chinese composer are still copyrighted, unless their heirs re-license the works to CC, which in that case, would be okay to be hosted in USA anyway. So Carolus and Horndude77: would the github be a good projec...

Re: a Life+50yrs lilypond project hosted by IMSLP FTP server
Well, I'm going to have a SVN server on IMSLP soon. Maybe I can create an account there for you. Would that work? Also, is there a reason why a public VCS is needed for typesetting? (Sorry, I don't have much knowledge of the typesetting world.) First, Horndude77 wants the project to be hosted in Ca...

Re: a Life+50yrs lilypond project hosted by IMSLP FTP server
However is the file server which host the PDF files of IMSLP proper backed up? Also do we have multiple mirrors for our PDF files as well as the content of the website?. If file server of IMSLP proper is backed up and have multiple mirrors, then would it be okay for the life+50yrs lilypond project t...

a Life+50yrs lilypond project hosted by IMSLP FTP server
Horndude77 currently has the lilypond-based retypesetting project open-score http://open-scores.blogspot.com/ which re-typeset public-domain full scores so that both full scores and parts can be produced. I have access to works by a public-domain Chinese symphonic composer called Xian, Xinghai http:...

Re: CD-ROM Score Stash
Hi Carolus,
May I have access to your FTP site? My machine has already been set up to do automated logo-removal for the OP project (which is near completion) and I am very happy to process whatever entries in CDSM
Thanks!

Re: Orchestral Parts Project
I have just updated the status page for the OP project. Parts acquisition from the OP project (vol 1-10) has already been completed and logo removal should also be completed by the end of this week. The next step will be copyright reviewing and designing a web template for incorporation into IMSLP p...
