Earlier today I was trying to date a work published by Breitkopf by going to its IMSLP page. Darn: the gap between plate numbers listed was very wide, and the later plate number had an earlier date than the earlier plate number. I noted that the notice for possible copyright works in the U.S. still say: These works are also probably still under copyright in the U.S. if first published after 1923. Finally, time to change that to 1924. :) Or for more accuracy, it should say "...if first published in or after 1924."
